One of the side effects of chasing states on 10 meters at a sunspot minimum, was to join the 10-X club. I got caught up then in chasing paper (chapter awards) and got the bright idea of forming my own chapter. I also kept busy as a teenager volunteering to work on the Winona ARC club newspaper the Hamgram. I enjoyed studying radio propagation and combined everything into the following articles , scanned from the newspaper, with all the bad typing and bad grammer intack.
